If a player deals too much damage to it too quickly or if it spends too long out of combat the fleshpound will rage and let out a loud roar. It has spiked gauntlets that can spin and shred anything in its path and is also equipped with an adrenaline pump in its chest. Most notably they have a glowing core on their chest which indicates their level of aggression and pumps.

King fleshpound was the third boss enemy added to killing floor 2 initially he was just the boss of the weekly outbreak poundemonium but soon became a full fledged boss in survival mode as well. The fleshpound is the most powerful specimen outside of the bosses and appears in all killing floor games. The fleshpound the most powerful non boss specimen in the game makes its first appearance in the last waves of the game. It is a taller and stronger version of its normal counterpart that also uses unique whirlwind ground pound explosion and chest beam attacks and spawns a set of outbreak exclusive minions named quarter pounds.
