Real time reflections lens flares hud still needs some work.
Killing floor 2 is a game released by tripwire interactive a cooperative.
Turning off realtime reflections drastically increases fps and reduces stuttering but it s definitely still there just not as noticeable.
Make sure you have vertical sync on.
I can even switch it on and off midgame to recreate the issue.
The only solution so far is turning sli off.
I can run everything else on or at maximum but realtime reflections makes the game all black.
I normally play at 1440p ultra and never dip bellow 60 but i set the game to 4k for the sake of recording this.
This has nothing to do with performance and everything to do with the black boxes artifacts caused by the real time reflections.
Do you use sli or have realtime reflections turned on.

I already tried playing in windowed mode verifying game integrity turning motion blur on again and disabling real time reflections.
When i have sli turned on the hud is there but the rest of the screen is pitch black.

Sometimes i see the outlines of cars or other structures but only as a very thin line.
It seems to be that realtime reflections are what cause the problem.
1x4gb ddr3 1600mhz processor can work with 1333mhz max anyway.
Specular reflections not fixed.
Fiddled around with the settings but still stutters if you turn it down a bit.
But the problem maintains.
