Professional sculptor joanne cooke lives in west yorkshire where she shares her workshop with her husband fellow artist david cooke. Joanne cooke s artworks caught my eye sometime ago i lost my reference you know about computers but i remembered joanne s work and sought it out again. My work is inspired by a life long love of dogs and my aim is to capture the character of each dog i sculpt through it s facial expression. I was born in chicago illinois usa and attended the university of illinois graduating with a degree in fine arts specializing in ceramic and glass sculpture.
